Marie Darling is the dynamic force behind Rychen. She is a career business development professional having dedicated over 30 years to helping companies achieve strategic growth objectives across the defence, aerospace, technology, manufacturing, and industrial raw material sectors.
Marie’s experience spans the entire business acquisition spectrum. She is effective at taking complex campaigns and capital programs from opportunity identification and strategy conceptualization, through capture, proposal development, and project execution.
As a seasoned sales and marketing leader, Marie is dedicated to empowering her clients with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate complex business landscapes with confidence. In addition to a history of youth advocacy and volunteerism with organizations such as JA Canada and Futurpreneur, Marie is an accomplished mentor within the defence and aerospace industry. In recognition of her outstanding contributions in this regard, Marie was honoured with the prestigious Paddy O’Donnell Mentorship Award by the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries (CADSI) in 2019 and was appointed to CADSI’s Defence Policy Implementation Advisory Committee in 2021.
She holds a Graduate Certificate from Royal Roads University in Management Consulting, an Executive Master of Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario, and a diploma (with honours) from Niagara College’s School of Business and Management.
Marie is an active member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC), the Eastern Ontario Council, and a Director on the CMC-Canada Pro Bono Committee.
